For beginners in SEO, it is critical to understand that search engine optimisation is divided into three elements: technical, content, and links. If you optimise the three elements, you could potentially rank #1 on Google. It appears to be simple, but it is not quite. 

To accommodate beginners in SEO, we take small, manageable steps, and will then describe which efforts cover which element.

1. Begin by creating a keyword analysis that will provide you with insight into what words your users are searching for, what keywords are relevant to you, and how competitive the market is. In this step, you can make use of a free tool such as Google Search Console.

2. The following step for SEO beginners is to optimise the page title and meta description of all your domain’s pages. Your page title MUST begin with your desired keyword and be no more than 50-60 characters long. Your meta description should be between 130-160 characters long and should only include your keyword or phrase. For example, if you use WordPress, you can easily and quickly fix it.

3. Now you focus on creating SEO friendly content. Your keyword should appear approximately 2 times per 100 words on your page so that Google recognises you as an expert. Furthermore, the word should appear prominently in the majority of your headlines.

4. It is now critical that you create a good link structure in your text around the page by linking internally between your pages while also showing Google that you are aware of other pages and thus link to relevant external pages.
